My hearts light up when I see a business transform from an idea into a living, breathing brand. When I'm not running Pretty Creative. co, I love visiting coffee shops, taking long walks on the beach, and binge-watching the latest Netflix series.
SO HOW DID I GET HERE?
My journey in graphic design began when as a way to edit and build my model portfolio. A close photographer friend showed me how to use Photoshop and Corel Draw to make my photos look more professional. This sparked my love for Photoshop and graphic design as I had always had a talent for art and painting and an eye for color and design. Designing came easy to me and because I loved it it never felt like work at all.
In 2010, I wanted to take my work more seriously and add credentials to my name. I decided to further my education in graphic design by earning my certificate in Web Development, Web Design, and C+. I started freelancing mostly typography, logo and print design, illustrations, and icons and I loved it! From 2010 to 2016, I found myself fully immersed in a budding graphic design company. At this point, my start-up was blossoming, quickly but I was slowly becoming very saturated, very fast. I noticed our brand was becoming very stagnant and very repetitive and my work was becoming less and less creative.
In 2016 I took an 8-year hiatus, to serve my country in the United States Navy. this was truly a rollercoaster, of a time. That forced me to examine what I love, where I was going and what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. No matter what I did, my heart and the universe kept bringing me back to design!

So here we are today a completely revamped design company, my time away has helped me discover my niche in graphic design and my calling! Brand Design! It was everything I was looking for! I can honestly say that I have never been this happy or this confident in my life. I love my work and am so grateful that I get to do it every single day.
